I especially like all the video clips in Ain't Misbehavin' that give concrete examples of discipline vs. punishment and strategies that parents can use.  The interactivity of the course is very engaging.

FREE WEBINAR:  Parenting Children from Haiti and Other "Hard Places"
Featuring Dr. Karyn Purvis

The life-long journey of adoptive parenting can bring joy as well as real challenges.  This is especially true when parenting a child who has experienced significant trauma and deprivation, such as those children who are coming from orphanages in Haiti.  These children may be struggling with issues relating to sleep, communication, sensory over-load, and just learning how to function in a family setting.  Dr. Purvis provides practical advice to guide parents and adoption professionals in working through issues such as these and thereby helping the child connect with their new family.
