Our courses have been developed in partnership with adoption and child welfare experts, e-learning instructional design experts and adoptive families. Our goal is to make learning as informative and enjoyable as possible. They are designed to involve you in the learning process by placing you in the types of situations you encounter in your everyday life and give you new ideas for how to handle these situations with confidence. Each course provides instruction, interactive exercises and extensive resource lists for further exploration and support. And, in the section called Adoption Stories, personal life reflections of adult adopted persons and adoptive parents are shared to bring real life relevance to each subject.
Whether you are contemplating adoption or are already an adoptive family, or if you are an adopted person, birth parent, or adoption professional, you will find a wealth of resources within each course. An added bonus is that your enrollment never expires. You can always return and continue to learn as your child grows up.
