Do I need to register for the forum if I am already registered on ALP?

Yes, you do. While the forum is attached to Adoption Learning Partners, it can be used by anyone, not only ALP clients. back to top.

Is a forum the same as a chat room or listserv?

No. A chat room is a live conversation center, in which everyone that is communicating is online at that moment. A listserv is a mailing list that will send you correspondence directly to your e-mail box.  Our forum offers the best of both worlds - you can see what people have written and what the responses are, but you only see it when you want to.  You don't miss any of the conversation or camaraderie because you are not online at a particular time. back to top
